When I took the leap and started Katie Did Design and go out on my own, I was excited to build a business rooted in creativity and purpose. But I wasn't fully prepared for the fear, imposter syndrome, self-doubt, and uncertainty that came with entrepreneurship.
It's funny how you can spend your days helping other people confidently tell their stories and build their brands while quietly questioning your own abilities.

Finding My Way Back to Myself
Breathwork became one of the most transformative practices in my life. It gave me space to quiet the noise, release emotions, recognize old patterns, and reconnect with myself.
It didn't make the challenges disappear, but it changed how I moved through them. I learned to trust myself, embrace uncertainty, and approach life with greater compassion and awareness.
I'm genuinely not sure I would have made it through my entrepreneurial journey without breathwork.
Beyond business, this practice has profoundly changed my relationship with myself and others. It's helped me become more present, open, and connected.
The Birth of Sound Body + Breath
What began as a personal healing practice grew into a passion I felt called to share.
Through continued training in breathwork, sound healing, yoga, and meditation, I created Sound Body + Breath, a space for others to slow down, release what no longer serves them, and reconnect with themselves.
In many ways, my two businesses share the same heart. Through Katie Did Design, I help people bring their visions into the world. Through Sound Body + Breath, I help people turn inward and reconnect with what's possible within themselves.
I'm incredibly grateful for what these practices have brought into my life, and sharing them with others has become one of my greatest joys.
